USDA is taking action to assist
farmers in response to trade damage from unjustified retaliation by foreign
nations. As announced last month, USDA will authorize up
to $12 billion in programs, consistent with our World Trade Organization
obligations.
Corn and bean farmers will receive payments which may help ease the crunch.Exports are still high, the excess carryover is a problem which is not caused by the Tariffs placed on our products by foreign buyers.
